The U.S. Navy needed help. It needed a system to determine the risk of mines at sea. They approached Concurrent Technologies Corporation, and CTC developed a flight-capable proof of concept prototype from a clean sheet in 18 months, and has made 9 initial production shipsets of the system so far. CTC is also responsible for the system’s testing, logistics, and repair, and is the spare parts provider.
